🐎 Reviving a Sunnah: Horse Riding Sessions with Hubb Leicestershire! 🐎

Hubb Leicestershire is thrilled to announce that we'll be hosting Horse Riding sessions at Mere Lane Riding School for three sessions this summer! 🌞

"Teach your children swimming, archery, and horse-riding," said Sayyidina Umar RA, emphasizing the importance of these skills. Yet, among the Muslim populace of Leicester, horse riding is a sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW that is rarely practiced. However, it is a tradition that should be encouraged, as it fosters a holistic appreciation of the deen and develops our children in a well-rounded manner.

📅 Dates: Every first Saturday of the month
🕒 Time: 3:00 PM, 60 min session
🏠 Location: Mere Lane Riding School, Oadby (Indoor facilities available)
💰 Cost: £20 per participant (cheaper than booking private horse riding sessions due to our group booking)

**Please note: Only children aged 5 and above can partake in the session.**

These sessions cater to complete beginners, offering a half-hour riding lesson followed by a half-hour of mounted games, promising enjoyable experiences for all participants. Children aged 5 and above are welcome to join, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for families. Families with toddlers under 5 are also encouraged to attend as they will have the opportunity to pet the horses at the site.

Additionally, parents can opt to join the session with their child by purchasing a ticket.

- Maximum weight limit: 13 stone
- Attire: Trousers and boots or wellies (trainers are acceptable, sandals, loose robes, or shorts are not permitted)
