🍽 About This Month’s Theme
This month’s Girls Youth Programme explores the important theme of Food & Diet in Islam. From prophetic foods to modern nutrition, we’ll dive into what the Qur’an and Sunnah teach us about healthy living. The session will feature:
A talk on Islamic teachings around food and eating with moderation
The story of a Sahabiyah linked to health and nourishment
A special talk from a qualified dietician with over 12 years of experience, touching on the effects of food on the body and eating disorders
A tasting session of foods mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah
Group activities focused on building healthy attitudes towards food and nutrition
A registration form will be required, where parents/guardians will be asked to disclose any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Most foods will be plant-based and simple, but all precautions will be taken inshaAllah.
