🟨 Desire & Discipline
A Workshop for Teenage Boys (14+)
📍 Masjid Adam (A.S), Leicester
🗓️ Tentative Date: Sunday [insert date]
⏰ 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
👥 Strictly Boys Only | Ages 14+
🔎 Why This Workshop?
Teenage boys today are navigating a world saturated with sexual imagery, peer pressure, and digital distractions. These challenges often leave them confused, ashamed, or misinformed about their natural desires. Rather than avoiding these conversations, Desire & Discipline creates a safe and respectful space to address them openly—through the lens of Islam.
This one-off workshop aims to help young men understand that desire is not a flaw—but a test, a trust, and a tool when channelled correctly. By discussing this in an age-appropriate, Islamic framework, we hope to empower boys with the knowledge and spiritual tools they need to uphold dignity and grow in self-awareness.
📚 What the Workshop Covers
What sexual desires are in Islam, and why Allah created them
How to navigate a hypersexualised world with dignity and self-respect
The difference between having desires and acting on them
Practical tools from the “Taqwa Toolkit” to guard the heart
Repentance (Tawbah) as a way back, no matter one’s mistakes
This interactive session includes real-life scenarios, reflection exercises, and group discussions to empower young men with the spiritual clarity and emotional tools to navigate desire without shame.
⚠️ This workshop is restricted to boys aged 14 and above due to the sensitive nature of the topics discussed. All content will be delivered with utmost adab and grounded in Qur’anic principles and Prophetic wisdom.
💭 Why Hubb Leicestershire Is Conducting This
At Hubb Leicestershire, we believe our youth deserve honest, spiritually rooted conversations on the realities they face. As part of our wider commitment to holistic tarbiyyah, this initiative addresses a critical need that is too often left unspoken. If we don’t address these issues, others will - often without Islamic guidance or care for our youth’s wellbeing.
This workshop is a step toward giving our young men the clarity, confidence, and character they need to navigate today’s challenges while remaining connected to their Creator.
